“Like many physicians, I was attracted to the profession because of my interest in science and my desire to serve others. I didn’t realize at the time just how rewarding it would be to help people overcome debilitating back pain and live more functional and active lives.
“I’m very grateful for the advanced training I have received, as it has increased my skills and competence. But all the knowledge in the world is no substitute for understanding and empathizing with patients. The men and women I see are often fearful and in crisis, and it is comforting for them to find a physician who cares and listens to their concerns.
“I use my training, experience and problem-solving ability to devise solutions that will help restore my patients’ health, then follow the plan of care through to completion, regardless of how long it takes. Everyone in our practice, including our dedicated physical therapists, fully supports this objective.
“I also keep up with evolving research and incorporate new and proven techniques that will benefit my patients, and I’m proud to have pioneered a new injection technique for disc restoration.
“Being a physician has made me very thankful for my health, and that has made me more determined than ever to help others enjoy health and wellness. It’s wonderful to hear people say that I’ve made them feel better and changed their lives.”
